Cherokee County Commissioners' Court set for Tuesday

RUSK – County leaders will meet 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, in regular session at the Cherokee County Courthouse.

According to a meeting agenda, the Commissioners’ Court will:

• Consider laying utility lines in each precinct

• Consider approval of tax refunds greater than $500

• Consider approval to purchase election equipment with Hart Intercivic

• Consider approval of a consent agenda that includes creation of Lots 1-3 of the Ford Subdivision in the AJ Francis Survey, Abstract No. 283, and Block No. 15 of the Thomas Quevado Survey, Abstaract No. 44 – no roads; a plat creating Lot 1 of Hickory Hollow Subdivision No. 1 in the WS Keahey survey, Abstract No. 494 – no roads; monthly reports from Pct. 3 Constable Eddie Lee, County Auditor Steven Daughety and County Treasurer Erin Curtis; and payment of bills, payroll and transfer of funds.

The court also will enter into executive session to discuss personnel matters; action, if any, will be taken when it reconvenes into open session, as per Texas Government Code.
