Electronics recycling company opens newest site
A number of folks attended a Sept. 30 ribbon cutting at STS Electronic Recycling, 402 S. Ragsdale St. In Jacksonville. The company provides provides business electronics recycling and IT asset disposal to businesses, schools and government organizations nationwide, removing more than 1.5 million pounds of electronics from the global e-waste stream this year alone, according to company officials. Locally, the staff offers pick-up services, by going to locations and handling all of the heavy lifting, logistics and reporting.
