Allen L Gault
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Rusk at 1:00 p.m. for Allen L. Gault who passed away September 2, 2020, in Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Texas. Cremation was under the direction of Boren Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Texas.
Allen was born July 15, 1940 to the late William James, Jr. and Alice Olson Gault. He was born and raised in the Houston/Aldine area and worked in the construction field as a sheetrock/drywall hanger and started his own business in sheet rocking, before selling it and moving his Family to Rusk in 1973.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Rusk and worked with Royal Ambassadors Program, taught Bible studies, and worked as Custodian for 10 years, before moving on to work at Rusk State Hospital as Housekeeping Supervisor, retiring in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Terry Renee Gault, son, Allen L. Gault, Jr., and siblings, Norma, Mary and John.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Pamela Brewer Gault, daughter-in-law Alice Gault of Houston, son Bryan E. Gault and wife Monette of Lake Livingston, Michael R. Flanigan and wife Tonya of Jacksonville, daughter Terri Hyde and fiance Cody Jones of Alto, and son Mark A. Flanigan and fiancee Danielle of Crosby, brothers, Bill and wife Alean of Willis, Bobby and wife Frances of Lake Livingston, Ronny and wife Shirley of Willis, sister Carolyn Gault of Blanco, sisters-in-law Debbie Bartro and husband Steve of Dickinson and Pat Carter and husband Milton of Cleveland Texas.
His most favorite title was Pa Pa and he is survived by 25 Grandchildren and 30 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, and a host of Friends.
