Joyce McCray Miles

Joyce McCray Miles, born June 17, 1939, to Lloyd and Ethel (Snider) McCray, entered eternal rest Sunday, May 10, 2020. She was 80 years old.

A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Pierce’s Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Higginbotham officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30-3 p.m. at the cemetery. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Joyce was a member of Pierce’s Chapel Assembly of God Church. She was a faithful wife and mother and her greatest joy in life was being “Mema."

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Dennie Miles.

Left to cherish Joyce’s memory are her loving husband, Sherrel Miles; daughter, Robin Kadlecek and husband Joe of Rusk; son, Doyce Miles and wife Debbie of Waxahachie; brother, L.J. McCray and wife Nettie of Marshall; and sister, Betty McGee of Austin. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Justin and Laura Miles, Brady and Denae Miles, Alex and Layne Miles, Kevin and Alex Kadlecek, Colton and Abby Kadlecek; and great-grandchildren, Landon Miles, Christian Miles, Gavin Miles, Austin Miles, Luke Miles, Henry Miles, Kate Miles, Marie Kadlecek and Hazel Miles.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
