Wal-Mart takes measures to help enforce social distancing
Wal-Mart, located in Jacksonville, has limited access to a single entry and a single exit towards the north end of the building. The purpose, according to Wal-Mart employees, is to maintain social distancing while still allowing people the opportunity to shop.
If multiple people arrive at the same time, they are asked to wait in line on the various signs posted six feet apart. This is to prevent a congestion of folks at the entrance waiting for someone to obtain or clean a shopping cart before proceeding further into the store.
Signs are placed on the tiling throughout the store requesting patrons to maintain a six-foot separation from others.
A healthy Cherokee County requires great community news.
