Homecoming activities are planned this weekend at Rusk High School. Participants in the crowning of the homecoming queen prior to the Rusk-Fairfield game kickoff will be from left Chelsea Kinser, senior queen candidate; Morgan Ford, junior; Callie Collins, senior queen candidate; Amber Parker, senior queen candidate; Paige Penn, junior; Callie Jackson, senior queen candidate; Traneisha Hunter, sophomore; Aleigha Mabry, sophomore; Lainey Cockrum, freshman and Ge'nesis Castillo, freshman.

The 12th group of Rusk TJC Citizens Promise scholars was introduced Thursday during a ceremony at Rusk High School. The 49 Rusk seniors are eligible for the Rusk Promise scholarship, which covers up to $4,000 per year for two years at TJC.
