Lloyd Elton Hudson

Funeral services for Lloyd Elton Hudson, 85, of Rusk, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Jan 8, 2022 graveside at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Gentry officiating.

Mr. Hudson passed away on December 25, 2021. He was born to the late Hubert and Mary Hudson in Rusk, Texas, on November 12, 1936. He graduated Rusk High School in 1956. He served in the United States Army. He loved working outside and never stopped. He enjoyed mowing others yards when they needed to be tended. He was also a family man and adored his children.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynda Hudson of Rusk; children, Taresa Smith and her husband Troy of Rockdale, Gary Hudson of Rusk; and granddaughter Nicole Smith of Rockdale.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, Jan 7, 2022 at Wallace Thompson Funeral Home.
