Alma Violet Broach

Alma Violet Broach, 96, of Rusk, Texas died Saturday, November 13, 2021 in Rusk, Texas.

She was born February 4, 1925 in Forest, Texas to Palmer and Effie Thomas Petty. She lived most of her life in Cherokee County, after briefly living in Kingsville, Texas and later moved to Jacksonville, Texas. She and her husband C.B. Broach retired to Rusk. Mrs. Broach enjoyed cooking, reading and any kind of puzzle.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers; 3 sisters as well as her long-time friend Ira Vee Arnold.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Charles and Melinda Broach of Jacksonville; daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Vic Whadford of Rusk; grandchildren Laura Wilcox, Lana Hattermann, Sarah Whadford, and Chris Broach; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Monday November 15, at 10:30 a.m. at Arnold Cemetery in Forest, Texas.
