Alice Mae Raines

Graveside services for Alice Mae Raines, 89, of Tyler, will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 12, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Jack White officiating.

2021 Mrs. Raines passed away October 8, 2021. She was born June 18, 1932 in Holland, Texas to the late Edward and Phyllis Billeck. She married O.A. Raines and was with him 51 years until his death.

She loved her granddaughter and her great-grandkids as well the Billeck family. She loved specialty shopping and collecting for everyone’s needs. Her priority love was Jesus and enjoyed listening to George Jones and classic hymns. She was known for her kindness and generosity, having “adopted” many others as grandchildren
