Jacksonville High School football team revives tradition
Several Jacksonville High School varsity football players stop for a quick visit at athletics administrative assistant Deena Brand’s office prior to a pep rally Friday morning. Brand said the team has revived a 1990s tradition of varsity players wearing white dress shirts with royal blue ties on game day. “It was a great sight to see – they all looked so proud of their new attire – and they were very handsome,” she said.
